I was born in an island called Penang on the North West Coast of Malaysia. At a younger age I enjoyed most of my time in my neighbour’s sandbox building sandcastles, I didn’t know then but I was actually realizing my passion for architecture.
As I grew up my interest in architecture grew together with my interest in business because of my dad’s influence. I have the tendency to immerse myself in every aspect of space that caught my attention, may it be solid magazines or postcards, digital, etc.
I have always remind myself that one should never be subject to restriction in order to achieve greater creativity. Doing my best is not a burden, it’s self-rewarding.
I completed my Master of Architecture in University of Technology Sydney. Before that, I entered University of Tasmania, Australia with an international scholarship which I have completed my degree in 3 years. Before entering uni, I did my Year 12 in Bronte College of Canada, Missassaunga where I was awarded Ontario Scholar by the Ontario Ministry of Education. All the years in different colleges and universities in different parts of the world have taught me much about life. There are lessons and experiences in life that I’ve yet to discover and learn.
