Site is located on an island near the North Gyre in the pacific ocean. The design research center is 90 percent made of recyclable plastic. The centre is used to research ways to recycle the overwhelming plastics/Gyre in the ocean. Design of the building is based on reciprocal system. Building is assemble with mass produce parts which can be interlock with each other to form the whole building.
